Course Overview
The MBChB programme is designed around patient-centred healthcare with an emphasis on clinical skills, professionalism and community medicine. Students benefit from small class sizes, modern simulation facilities and extensive NHS placements.
Integrated teaching links biomedical sciences with clinical practice from the first year. Graduates are prepared for Foundation Programme training and contemporary medical practice.
Entry Requirements
- Indian Standard XII (CBSE/CISCE): Minimum 85% overall, including 85% in Chemistry and Biology, meeting the University’s published international academic requirements for MBBS Medicine.
- Entrance Exam: University Clinical Aptitude Test ( UCAT )assessment required + Qualified NEET-UG scorecard required for Indian students as per NMC.
- Language & Interview: IELTS 7.5 overall (min 7.0 in each band) + Multiple Mini Interview (MMI).
- Age Limit: Must be 18 years of age by start of clinical practice.
- Health & Clearance: Health fitness clearance, Enhanced DBS check, valid passport, and transcripts.
