Course Overview
The MBChB programme provides a 5-year comprehensive medical education combining biomedical sciences, clinical practice and research. Students undertake extensive clinical placements in teaching hospitals and community healthcare settings.
The curriculum emphasizes innovation, communication and multidisciplinary collaboration. Graduates are prepared for Foundation Training and postgraduate medical education.
Entry Requirements
- Indian Standard XII (CBSE, CISCE and selected State Boards): Minimum 90% overall, including 90% in Chemistry and Biology and meeting the published subject requirements equivalent to AAA at A Level for MBChB Medicine.
- Entrance Exam: University Clinical Aptitude Test ( UCAT )required + Qualified NEET-UG scorecard required for Indian citizens for NMC eligibility.
- Language & Interview: IELTS 7.0 overall (min 7.0 in each skill) + Selection Panel / MMI interview.
- Age Limit: Must be 18 years old by 1st October of admission year.
- Health & Clearance: Occupational Health clearance, Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG)/DBS check, valid passport.
