Course Overview
The Yerevan University of Traditional Medicine offers a distinct 6-year English-medium MD/MBBS curriculum that combines standard evidence-based medicine with integrative health sciences. Alongside complete coursework in standard medical disciplines—such as internal medicine, general surgery, pediatrics, pharmacology, and obstetrics—the academic plan incorporates training in acupuncture, reflexology, phytotherapy, and holistic diagnostic frameworks.
Clinical clerkships are conducted at public multi-specialty hospitals and specialized wellness centers in Yerevan, enabling students to evaluate acute and chronic conditions from both modern clinical and integrative viewpoints. The degree is structured to meet international regulatory standards, ensuring eligibility for medical licensing exams globally.
Entry Requirements
- Academics: 10+2 with PCB (minimum 50% aggregate; 40% for reserved categories).
- NEET: Mandatory NEET-UG score for Indian candidates.
- Age: At least 17 years of age by Dec 31 of admission year.
- Docs: Valid passport, medical fitness clearance, and HIV test report.
