Master of Entrepreneurship and Innovation – UQ
Course Overview
The University of Queensland’s Master of Entrepreneurship and Innovation prepares students to create, develop, and scale innovative ventures within entrepreneurial and corporate environments. Students study venture creation, innovation management, business model design, commercialisation, investment, and strategic growth while developing creative problem-solving and leadership skills.
Practical workshops, startup projects, and industry mentoring encourage students to transform innovative ideas into commercially viable businesses. The curriculum also examines emerging technologies, sustainability, and global entrepreneurial ecosystems. Graduates pursue careers as entrepreneurs, innovation managers, startup founders, business consultants, and corporate innovation leaders.
Entry Requirements
- Academic Records: Recognized Bachelor degree in any discipline with a credit average (65%+ WAM or equivalent).
- English Proficiency: IELTS 7.0 overall (minimum 6.0 in sub-scores), TOEFL iBT 96, PTE 68.
- Prerequisites / Knowledge: Business literacy, communication skills, and quantitative aptitude.
