Course Overview
The Bachelor of Civil Law, Criminology and Criminal Justice integrates legal education with the scientific study of crime, criminal behaviour, and justice systems. Students examine criminal law, criminological theory, policing, forensic evidence, criminal justice policy, and restorative justice while developing analytical and investigative skills.
The programme explores the social, psychological, and legal factors influencing crime and public safety through research-informed teaching. Practical learning encourages students to evaluate legal frameworks and criminal justice practices in national and international contexts. Graduates are prepared for careers in legal services, law enforcement, criminal justice agencies, public administration, and policy development.
Entry Requirements
- Completion of 10 + 2 with a minimum 75% aggregate in recognized board examinations.
- IELTS 6.5 (minimum 6.0 in each band), TOEFL iBT 88, PTE 61, or Duolingo 110.
- Background review in social sciences, history, or law studies.
- High school transcripts, statement of purpose, and two academic references.
- Applicants must satisfy programme-specific academic eligibility, and for postgraduate programmes hold a recognised Bachelor’s degree (minimum Second Class Honours Grade 1 or equivalent) in a relevant discipline. Some programmes may also require relevant work experience, an interview, or a portfolio where specified.
